Narragansett Indian Powwow– Cancelled for 2021 see you in 2022

Note from Narragansett Indian Powwow Committee:

“In order to maintain the health and well being of our Tribal Community and others. T he Chief Sachem, Medicine Man, Medicine Woman, Tribal Council, War Chief, Narragansett Indian Church Board, and Pow wow Committee Chairman.  We will have to cancel the 2021 Annual August Meeting/Powwow.  In no particular order, we collectively feel that by cancelling the 2021 August Meeting/Powwow it will be in the best interest of public safety.

This was not an easy decision.  But it is felt that it is a necessary one to help continue to flatten the curve and stop the spread of COVID-19.

We hope to see everyone next year, where we will be able to dance, sing, and laugh with each other again.  Until then, please stay safe and healthy”
