Aroostook Band of Micmacs Mawiomi of Tribes

Details: The Mawiomi Committee has opted to host the Mawiomi this year, marking it the 29th Annual Mawiomi since our humble beginnings in Westfield “Camper’s Paradise”. We also decided to make this event occur on the fourth week of August, so as to have any conflict with other Powwows in our neighboring Mi’kmaw Nations in Canada that have two powwows on the third weekend. This would alleviate any decisions that people want to make on visiting. We ask that people maintain social distancing, wear masks, if you are not feeling well to stay home.
