Chevron Bead Pair

Chevron Bead Pair
Chris picked up several large Chevron Beads that we are offering to the discerning collector or crafts person. This set of large Chevron Beads  measure 1 1/8" long x 7/8" in diameter. These beads have large holes through them.
Glass Chevron Beads are elegant layered beads. They usually come in Red, White and Blue, but can also come in other colors. Jewelers often use them to make necklaces. Beadmakers from Czechoslovakia first made Chevrons in the 16th century. Traders brought these layered beads to North America and Africa. The complexity of their manufacture makes them highly desirable. Craftsmen could not leave their factories in order to prevent them from sharing the technology.
You will find these beads in very good condition. We are selling them as a pair.
