This lovely Basket - Curled Ash Splints includes woven sweetgrass in its design. The artisan decorated it profusely with intricate curled ash splints on the base and the lid.The artisan likely created this Basket in the late 1970s or early 1980s. The Basket is in very good condition with no missing curls, although the splint flower design on the lid lost a few petals (as seen in the photo).
This Curled Ash Basket measures just 4.5" across the top and stands about 3" tall.
